Janice Guinn Hatchell

Janice Marie Guinn Hatchell, 53, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at her home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in the chapel at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service in Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM, prior to the service.

A native of South Attleboro, Massachusetts, she was born on August 19, 1973, to Dennis M. Guinn and Mary Hull Guinn. She was a member of the 1992 graduating class from North Forsyth High School. After graduation from high school, she furthered her education at Forsyth Technical Community College. Janice graduated with her associate’s degree in 2000. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time with her family at the coast. Janice loved her family deeply and was very proud of her two sons.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Richard “Lee” Hatchell; sons, Luke Hatchell and Jack Hatchell; parents, Dennis Guinn and Mary Guinn; sisters, Cathy Guinn and Christine Reese; and a host of extended family members and friends.
