Jeffrey "Jeff" Lee Cruthis

Jeffrey Lee Cruthis, age 65, of Greensboro, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 10th, 2026.

Jeff was born on August 12,1960 in High Point, NC, a son of late Bobby Lee Cruthis and Dorothy Lea Gammons.

Jeff developed a strong work ethic at a young age, a trait that defined his entire life. His true passion, however, was in the hunt for the next great find. He loved attending car shows with Nick and scouting for treasures. His ability to spot potential in a car that others passed by was a true talent. He took pride in buying and selling, whether it was a car, truck or a rare find.

Jeff was witty, quick with a comeback, and loved to engage in conversation.

Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Nick Cruthis (Emory Simpson); Nick’s Mother, Renee Augustine; two sisters, Sandy Shaut and Carol Cruthis. He also leaves behind several extended family members, friends, and his dog, Max, who will miss his presence daily.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15th at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 401 W. Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Samitarian’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
