Joyce Lahaie

Effie "Joyce" Lahaie, 93, passed away peacefully Monday, August 31, 2026. Joyce was born March 25, 1933 to parents, Noah and Carrie Hatfield in Kansas City, Missouri.

Joyce married Arley Lahaie on September 2, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their first son, Robert Mark was born in 1956 and their twin sons, Lesley Drew and Lindsey Scot were born in 1961. Joyce had a deep love for God, and served Him in many capacities during her lifetime.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Mark Lahaie and wife, Beth, Lesley Drew Lahaie, and wife, Amy, and Lindsey Scot Lahaie and wife, Ute; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jan Lahaie and wife, Carol; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Arley Lahaie, and her sister, Marilyn Hatfield.

A graveside funeral service celebrating her life will be held privately at Salisbury National Cemetery.
