Michael Andrew Gray

Oak Ridge - Michael Andrew Gray went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 19, 2026. Michael was born in Guilford County on December 24, 1961. Michael was the son of the late Clyde Andrew Gray and the late Lilly Strader Gray. Michael was never married; he is survived by two sisters, Linda Cox and Mary Ann Moretz; and two brothers, Clyde Ray Gray and David Gray; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael spent 21 years of his early life in Colfax. He moved to Oak Ridge at the age of 21 to live with the Holts, Bill and Joretta, and help run Rocking H Stable until his retirement in 1999. 

A graveside funeral service honoring his life will be held at Smith Grove Baptist Church, 2707 Sandy Ridge Rd, Colfax, NC 27235 at 10:00AM on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
