Mona Hohman Harris, 78, of Kernersville, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, while under the care of Jurney's of Statesville. Born in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late James and Bertha (Reed) Harris and wife of the late Manning Tillman. Mona graduated from George Washington University while working full time at the Department of State Agency for International Development. She married the love of her life, Manning Tillman, in May 1984 after 12 years of dating. After retiring, Mona enjoyed reading, gardening, shopping, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family.
