Patricia Musten Overby

Patricia Diane “Tricia” Musten Overby, 65, of Germanton, passed away, Monday, August 10, 2026, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 14, 2026, in the chapel of Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home with Pastor Sam White officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville.

A native of Forsyth County, she was born on May 23, 1961, to the late Arizonie Revere “A.R.” Musten and the late Delois Whitley Musten. Tricia received her associates degree from Forsyth Technical Community College and was a dedicated CNA for many years. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Tricia loved her animals and found great joy in their companionship. She was a selfless woman, who always strived to love and care for others. Even through her own health struggles, she faced the challenges with bravery and courage, all while continuing to put others first. Tricia was a faithful believer in God; she read the bible often and committed His words to memory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Musten; and granddaughter, Sierra Overby.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of thirty-nine years, Jimmy Overby; daughters, Christie Barnes (Bryan) and Angie Marks (Adam); grandchildren, Kylie, Lilian, Weston, Myla, and Millie; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Tricia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
