Robert "Bob" Evans

Bob Evans, 69, of Kernersville, passed away, Monday, August 10, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on November 4, 1956, he was the son of the late Kenneth Evans and the late Anna Dearden Evans. Bob was a beloved husband, father, and friend. There was no doubt that he loved his children immensely and cherished spending time with his family. Jane and Bob honeymooned in Disney World and continued to vacation there over the years with their kids. Bob was an avid golfer and made many friends and connections on the golf course. He was a gifted cook and enjoyed making meals for his family and friends. Bob had a long and successful career with Pella Windows and Doors. He earned several President’s Club awards and was a distinguished salesman for many years.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jane Evans of the home; son, Ross Evans (Brooke) of Charleston, SC; daughter, Sarah Bain (Reggie) of Columbia, SC; brother, John Evans (Denise Daly) of Rotonda West, FL; sister, Kathy Heseltine (Paul) of Kernersville; and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will hold an informal floating gathering of family and friends from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM, on Monday, August 17, 2026, at The Jefferson House, 225 West Mountain St., Kernersville, NC.
