Stephen Michael “Mike” Wright, age 81, passed away on April 24, 2026, in Kernersville, North Carolina. He was born on October 4, 1944, in Spencer, West Virginia.
Mr. Wright proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, including a tour in Vietnam, and retired honorably from military service.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Melony, in 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Wright; and his two sons, Robert Wright (Nancy) and Stephen Wright Jr. (Wendy).
A graveside service with military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, North Carolina, on Tuesday, April 28, at 9:00 a.m.
