In Loving Memory
Sylvia Ann Teague, 89, of Kernersville went to her Heavenly home on September 6, 2025 while surrounded by family. Born in Kernersville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late George and Flossie Marine and wife of the late Garland Teague.
Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Angela Yokeley and husband, Robert; her sons, Richard Teague and wife, Gail, and Terry Teague and wife, Brittany; her grandchildren, Brandon Stanley (Leann), Rheannon Chalfa (Stephen), Kellen Barbato (Mike), Steven Casper, April Shelton (Mark), Melissa Farrar, Stephanie Lawrence (Isaiah), Joey Teague (Tina), Tabbitha Czarnaski (Matthew), Blake Teague, and Austin Teague; her great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Audrey, Tristan, Amanda, Sebastian, Brandon, Christopher, Colby, Aiden, Lindsey (Ryan), Kallie, Amber, Tyler, Zaine, Ava, Calliope Nova, and Zildjian Lars; and her great-great-grandchildren, Addie, Ace, Braxton, Blakeley, and Josie; and her sister, Sandra Pope.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Kercheval, Frank Marine, Evelyn Sykes, Roy Marine, Carolyn Atkins, James Marine, Margie Marine, JoAnn Pinnix, and Georgia Johnson.
The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W. Mountain St. Kernersville NC 27284 on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM. Funeral services will follow beginning at 2:00PM with Pastor Brian Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Kernersville, NC following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC.
