Alice Marie Leschinski

Alice Marie Leschinski, 88, passed away peacefully at MorningStar Assisted Living in Parker, CO leaving memories of love and light to those who knew her. Alice was born March 20th, 1932 in Chicago, IL. Alice met Roy(Whitey) at a softball game and it was love at first sight. They married and began their family in Chicago and then moved to the suburbs of Elk Grove Village for over 50 years. In EGV, she worked at Jarosch Bakery for 33 years. After retirement, Alice and Roy enjoyed traveling and snowbirding in Panama City Beach, FL where they made many friends and great memories. After Roy’s passing, Alice then moved to CO to be closer to her youngest grandson in 2014. Alice will be known for her unconditional love for her family. She was always available to family and friends to lend an ear or to help in any way needed. Alice is survived by her children Diane Millar of Wheeling, IL, Brian Leschinski of Elk Grove Village, IL and Cathe Sander (Bill) of Parker, CO. She also leaves behind Grandchildren- Melissa Schultz (Dale), Sunshine Becker (Darren), Katie Dailey (Kellen), Jason Leschinski and Ben Sander. Great Grandchildren- Maggie Kolk and Lilith Leschinski. She is preceded in death by her mother, Renee Giese, her husband, Roy Edward Leschinski and brother, Kenneth Giese. A special thank you to all the staff at MorningStar Assisted Living in Parker and Bristol Hospice who cared for Alice unconditionally especially during the challenging times of COVID.
