Bethanie Lynne Dowell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bethanie L Dowell of Parker CO on December 2, 2025. She was born June 24, 1982, in Canton IL. Bethanie was a beautiful and funny individual who touched the lives of many with her vibrant personality. A loyal friend and confidant, she was cherished by all who knew her. 

Bethanie was the adoring mother of her 15-year-old son, Heath, who was the light of her life. Her creativity and talent were evident in her work as a superb interior decorator, a gifted painter, and a skilled furniture refinisher. Bethanie's culinary skills made her a fantastic cook, and her love for plants and flowers showcased her green thumb. Her affection for animals was reflected in her loving care for her two cats, Fireheart and Cuddles. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Kelly Dowell of Centennial CO, and her grandmother, Ketra Lingenfelter of Canton IL. Bethanie is survived by her loving mother, Pam Dowell of Aurora CO, her beloved son, Heath Hewitt of Payson AZ, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Bethanie will be sorely missed by all who knew her—a talented, loving friend, daughter, and mother. Her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to be part of her life. 

A celebration of Bethanie’s life will be held at a later date.
