Dallas LeRoy Doherty, age 35, tragically passed away on June 11, 2026, in Denver, Colorado, following a highway accident.
Dallas was born on April 8, 1991, to David and Chaille Doherty in Clinton, Maryland. As a toddler, he moved to and grew up in Elizabeth, Colorado, with his siblings, Jarrod, Erin, and Julia. He was homeschooled during his elementary years.
Throughout his youth, Dallas played piano, was involved in Awana and Royal Rangers, and enjoyed outdoor adventures. He was a co-founder, along with his brother and others, of Fox Airsoft in Parker, Colorado. He played airsoft as a member of Swamp Fox 12. He graduated from Frontier High School in 2009. For many years, he ran his own painting company, Innovative Painting and Construction. He also had a passion for auto mechanics, motorcycles, and e-bikes.
Dallas leaves behind his parents, David and Chaille Doherty of Elizabeth, Colorado; his partner, Cassandra Liden of Denver, Colorado; his beloved dog, Keelah; his brother, Jarrod Doherty (Kaitlin) of Centennial, Colorado; his sister, Erin Serr (Andrew) of Centennial, Colorado; and his sister, Julia Pisel (J.T.) of Elizabeth, Colorado.
He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Doherty-Barnes, three nieces, three nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at:
Summit Church7200 South Clinton St. Centennial, CO 80112
Viewing: 9:30–10:00 a.m.
Service and light refreshments: 10:00 a.m.
A burial service will be held at Elizabeth Cemetery at 3pm.
