Eleanor E. Winchell

Eleanor Winchell, 88, of Parker, formerly of Clinton, Michigan, passed away at Parker Adventist Hospital on December 5, 2011. She was born on August 27, 1923 in Bridgewater Township, Michigan to Caroline (Seckinger) and Lewis Trolz and they preceded her in death. On November 23, 1943, she married the love of her life, Rex Winchell and they had just celebrated their 68th Wedding Anniversary. She and Rex resided in Clinton where she raised her family and worked at Dearborn Steel and Tubing Company and also as a bookkeeper for Underwood's Pontiac dealership in Clinton for many years. They retired to Mulberry, Florida in 1987, where they resided until moving to Colorado in 2003. Eleanor loved spending time with her family, who were always her life, playing cards and attending Church functions. She had a wonderful sense of humor and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Beside her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Sandra Papsdorf, Denise (Randy) Mann and Laurie (Randy) Dittbrenner, all of Colorado. Three grandchildren, Ron (Marianna) Papsdorf of Portland, Oregon, Matt (Pam) Papsdorf and Mikaela Dittbrenner, both of Colorado, three great-grandchildren, Claire, Owen and Dane Papsdorf and former son-in-law, Jay Adrion of South Dakota. Also surviving are her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Bea Winchell of Fort Myers, Florida. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Iola and one of her beloved daughters, Sheryl Adrion. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 9100 E. Parker Road in Parker. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to Service at the Church. Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Parker Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Service Information
