Joseph John Zarba

Joseph John "Joe" Zarba, 83, of Parker, CO, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2019. Joe Zarba was born on May 23, 1935 in Boston, MA to Diego and Damina (Cali) Zarba. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Northeastern University. On April 16, 1961 he married Elaine Francis Gutowski in Boston. Joe worked as a Comptroller for the Department of Defense. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by his wife, Elaine and son, Richard. Survived by his son, Joseph John Zarba, Jr. of Oceanside, CA, and daughter, Anne of Parker, CO. Also survived by his granddaughters, Sarah and Emily and grandsons, Joe III and Dominic. Vigil 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., both at Ave Maria Catholic Church, 9056 E. Parker Road in Parker. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (Denver).
