Linda Kay Fairchild

Linda Fairchild, 66, of Castle Rock, passed away on March 24, 2014. Linda is survived by her husband, Craig, daughters, Susan Wilson of Centennial, CO, Nancy Black of Castle Rock, CO, and three grandchildren, Patrick Fairchild of Centennial, CO, Jessica Fairchild of Castle Rock, CO and Michael Wilson of Centennial, CO. Also survived by her brothers, James (Rosemary) Lengel of Yuma, CO, Ronald (Polly) Lengel of Price, UT, Dennis (Laura) Lengel of Idalia, CO, sisters, Bonita (Emmett) Wise of Joes, CO, and Denise (Rick) Slater of Centennial, CO. Linda was born in Goodland, Kansas to Edgar James Lengel and Arnetta Louise Reents. She married Craig Jay (CJ) Fairchild on June 3, 1967 at Burlington United Methodist Church in Burlington, Colorado. Linda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administrative and Management graduating with honors Magna Cum Laude in 1996. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, catering, was an accomplished pianist; also enjoyed sewing/quilting, gardening, volunteer activities and traveling. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Edgar, mother, Arnetta, sister, Denise, father-in-law, Donald L. Fairchild, mother-in-law, Phoebe Fairchild and son-in-law, Ronald Black. A Visitation will be held at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 6500 E. Girard Ave., Denver, CO 80224. Visitation will also be held at the Church one hour prior to the Service. A Reception will follow the Funeral. Services will conclude at the Church.
