Michael John Surritte

After a courageous and long-fought battle with cancer, Michael “Mike” John Surritte of Parker, Colorado was called home to the Lord. Mike peacefully passed away in his home on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the age of 48. Mike's memory will be forever treasured by his loving wife of 16 years, Laura Guesnon Surritte; son Austin Surritte; daughter Marissa Surritte; and brother Chad Surritte. Mike will be dearly missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in law, as well as the local baseball and softball communities of Parker. Throughout his strenuous fight with cancer, Mike was never alone. He was constantly surrounded by family and friends who love him and will always cherish his kindness, his wit, and his strength. Mike was a loyal fan of the San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers, enjoying fishing, sports and the outdoors with his adoring family. Often seen with a baseball mitt or manning the barbeque, Mike was the vintage American man who cared deeply for his wife and children. A vigil will be held for the celebration of Mike on Monday, October 22 at 7:00 pm. Hiis funeral will be on Tuesday, October 23 at 11:00 am. Both services will take place at Ave Maria Catholic Church, at 9056 East Parker Road, Parker, CO.
