Michael David Vanskiver

Michael David VanSkiver, 49, of Franktown, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2011. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, Noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76017. A Funeral Mass was also held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2746 E. 5th Street in Castle Rock. Michael was born in Tucson, Arizona on March 28, 1961. Formerly from Arlington, Texas, Michael has been a resident of Colorado since 1993. Michael graduated from the University of Colorado with a Masters Degree in Psychology. He obtained a Colorado Broker/Realtor license and was employed with Weichert & Associates of Colorado Springs. His hobbies included horseback riding, artist, woodworking and reading. Michael is survived by his parents, Ralph and Sharon VanSkiver of Mansfield, Texas, Brothers, Scott (Chrislynn) VanSkiver and Brian (Kandice) VanSkiver, significant other, Sheila Shaffer, Uncles, Robert (Jean) VanSkiver and Richard (Sharon) VanSkiver, Nephews, Tyler VanSkiver and Luke VanSkiver, and Nieces, Riley VanSkiver and Reese VanSkiver.
