Quentin Gale Moeller

Every now and then, a quiet soul walks this earth and leaves it far better than he found it. Such people rarely seek recognition, yet their kindness, steady presence, and unwavering love become woven into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know them. 

On Wednesday, July 22, 2026 Quentin "Moe" Moeller completed his earthly journey and entered into eternity, surrounded by the love of his family. He is welcomed home by his beloved wife, Joellen (Jody), and two hearts, separated only for a time, are together once again. While our hearts grieve his absence, we are profoundly grateful for the life he lived and the countless ways he made the world gentler, stronger, and brighter. 

His family, who remain forever shaped by his love, include his children, Darrin (Susan) Moeller, Gina (Carl) Casey, Steve (Mariana) Moeller, and Tom (Rachel) Moeller; his grandchildren, Delaney, Jessica and Jenna Moeller, Samantha and Sean Casey, Shannon (Andrew) Crawford, Sarah, Nick, and Amber Moeller, Drew Moeller; his great granddaughter, Noelle Crawford; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who were always treated like family. He is sorely missed by his constant companion, his husky/lab mix, Sheldon, who he loved very much. 

The story of Moe's life is not measured merely in years, but in the love he gave, the work of his hands, his service to his country, and the countless family members and friends whose lives were richer because they knew him. 

He grew up on a farm in Illinois and never lost his love for the values that farm life instilled in him. He grew various vegetables each year and loved to can fruits and make jelly. He collected tractors and motors, had a wood shop where he seemed able to create almost anything imaginable, and restore even the most hopeless projects. He was generous with his time and resources. 

A proud patriot, he served in the USMC from 1959 - 1963 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal after two tours during the Vietnam War. Moe loved his country and truly appreciated the freedoms we have here in the USA. 

Moe and Jody were married on June 27th 1964. He worked in telecommunications while they raised their family of four. His family always came first and he worked tirelessly to make sure they had what they needed. His greatest joy was his family. Especially since retiring, he treasured the weekly dinners with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will continue to nourish those he loved for years to come.

 With all our love, thank you for being our Friend, our Dad, our Grandpa, our Moe. Until we meet again, you will forever be loved, forever be missed, and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. 

Moe’s Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 18th, at 10:30am at Ave Maria Catholic Church, 9056 E. Parker Rd., Parker, CO followed by a military burial service at 1:00pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO.
