Richard Charles Busch

Richard Charles Busch, of Parker, CO, passed away on March 23, 2023. Richard is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara, his children, Tracy Busch, Brigitte (Don) Hunter and David Busch. Also survived by his sister, Elizabeth Busch-Joss, of Long Island, NY and in-laws, Edward and Grethe Klose. Richard was born on April 26, 1936 in Queens, NY to George and Gladys (Sage) Busch. He graduated from Newtown High School in Queens, NY. Richard served in the United States Army as a Specialist 3rd Class from 1954-1956. On April 26, 1958 Richard married Barbara Ann Klose at St. John's Lutheran Church in Flushing, NY. Richard retired from Bell Systems and Truckdriving. He enjoyed gardening, do-it-yourself projects and volunteering at Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 550 E. Wolfensberger Road in Castle Rock. Committal Service at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "B" at 2:30 p.m. Military Honors provided by the United States Army.
