Ronald Leroy Harp
November 21, 1945 — March 1, 2026
Ronald Leroy Harp, known affectionately as Ronnie, passed away on March 1, 2026 in Parker, CO. Ronnie was born to parents, Alma Lydia and Albert Carroll Harp, on November 21, 1945, in Braham, Minnesota.
Ronnie grew up on a Dairy Farm with his brother, Ken, near Mora, Minnesota and attended Mora High School. He has always loved playing baseball and softball and did so into his 80's. He loved spending time with family and friends and had a special interest in corvettes. He attended every ball game and practice of the grandsons and helped coach whenever he was needed.
He served in the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War in the Aircraft Armament Repair Unit. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. During the Vietnam War he flew on helicopters as a door gunner. After coming home, he worked 33 years in the workforce at 3M Company. He also volunteered as a driver for cancer patients, taking them to their treatments.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Patty, daughters, Christie and her husband, Chris, Suzy, and Rhonda, grandkids, Tayler and Thorne, Justin and Shelby, Kendall and Josh, Luke and Krizia, Evan and Lia, and Zack, and great-grandkids, Isabella and Olivia.
A memorial service will be held on April 11, 2026, at 2:00pm at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church (PEPC) 9030 Miller Rd., Parker, CO 80138.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
