Bernice Theresa Zappia

Bernice Theresa Zappia, age 89, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away Wednesday July 29, 2026.

She was born August 25, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Stanley and Florence Masters.

She enjoyed anything related to sewing including creating beautiful quilts, reading, doing puzzles, traveling and enjoying her retirement with her dogs and husband, Anthony Zappia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammara Orbach; three sisters, Theresa Kutnyak, Marie Feldhusen and Sylvia Masters; and one brother, Arnold Masters.

Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Anthony Zappia of Sun City, Arizona; two grandchildren, Tina Henry and Edward Gaffney, four great-grandchildren, Tyler Henry, Sierra Henry, Jason (JJ) Henry and Zaldin Gaffney; and other family who will sadly miss her.
