Donna Elizabeth Posillico

August 14, 1952 — August 31, 2025

Donna Elizabeth Posillico of Anthem, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025.

Born on August 14, 1952, Donna was originally from Farmingdale, New York. She was a graduate of Farmingdale High School and went on to earn her degree from Hofstra University. Donna built a successful career in finance and banking, where she was known for her dedication, intelligence and professionalism.

Donna was a beloved daughter of the late Americo and Anne Posillico. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Posillico, and her brother-in-law, Philip Guido. Donna is survived by her sister, Karen Guido, her brother, Robert Posillico, sister-in-law, Liz Peker, and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Donna shared a special bond with these special relatives to her. Her nieces are Lisa Guido, Donna Kain (Joseph), Andrea Schmitt (Richard), Matthew Posillico (Tori), and Katie Posillico. Her great-nieces and great-nephews are Gabe, Brian, Dominic, Kevin, Erin, Addy, and Ellie. Her presence in their lives was a constant source of love, encouragement, and warmth. She lit up when she spoke about all of them and never missed an opportunity to celebrate and praise their milestones.

She also had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs, throughout her life. She was a proud and loving dog mom to many cherished companions including Kirk, Nya, Kai, and Ralphie. Ralphie remained faithfully by her side until her passing.

A lover of the arts, she often gifted classic books or music. She attended many Broadway musicals and concerts. She was extremely crafty and was often crocheting and sewing. She was well-versed in many subjects. And she loved her retirement years in Arizona.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. We will miss engaging conversations with her, her unique laugh, and her companionship. She was one of a kind, and we are grateful to have had her in our lives.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lupus Foundation of America or your local SPCA, causes close to her heart.
