Gaspar Martinez

Gaspar Martinez, age 80, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on May 6, 2026.

Gaspar was born on January 3, 1946, in Havana, Cuba. As a teenager, he courageously escaped Cuba during Operation Pedro Pan and was proud to build a life in the United States.

He worked as an IT Manager for the State of Arizona and was known for his strong work ethic, intelligence, and dedication throughout his career.

Gaspar was especially known for his love of cars, travel, family, and enjoying life’s adventures. He will be remembered for his resilience, kindness, and the pride he carried for the life he created for himself and his loved ones.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, along with family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
