Joe E. Quintanilla

The family of Joe E. Quintanilla (Adam) of Sun City, Arizona, is saddened to announce Joe's passing on June 13, 2026, at the age of 80 from Alzheimer's.

Joe was born October 30, 1945 in Harlingen, Texas.  He was raised in Corpus Christie, Texas.  He joined the Coast Guard (1965-1969) and was stationed in Seattle, Washington, on the ice breaker The Northwind.  During his tour in Seattle, he met Linda.  They were married 1967.  They had 59 years together full of love and adventures.  Joe worked in the Lynnwood Post Office for 32 years, where he retired in 2002.  They have three children: Brian, Lori (deceased 5/2026) (Keith), Jamie (Nadia), and six grandkids: Jayden, Jocelyn, James Jr., Danny, Addison and Austin.  The family lived in Lynnwood, Bothell and Crescent Bar all in Washington.  Joe and Linda ultimately retired to Sun City, Arizona, and were snowbirds for 15 years between Sun City and Crescent Bar.

Joe and Linda loved traveling in the U.S. and Europe with Linda's siblings.  They both enjoyed golfing.  Joe's passion was his music.  He collected albums, CD's and stereo equipment.  He would often make special CD's for family and friends.

Joe is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, his extended family and friends.
