Joseph Galante

On September 9th, 2026, Joseph Galante left his earthly form to go home to his spiritual truth.

Joe was born in Brooklyn NY, raised by Mariano and Frances Galante. He married “the girl across the street,” his wife of 64 years, Marie Mohr Galante. Together they raised a son, Anthony Galante, who was the light in Joe’s life. Joe, in his early years, was manager of computer operations on Wall Street and Fifth Avenue. They eventually moved to Arizona, where Joe retired.

Joe was to everyone who knew him “the good guy,” respecting others, having integrity, and always greeted everyone with a smile. His favorite things were listening to jazz, food, football, and family gatherings.

He is survived by his wife, son, sister Rose, sisters-in-law Barbara Mohr, Lucille and husband Bob West, and beloved nieces and nephews who he always enjoyed being with.

He will be missed by all.
