Cathleen Abby Trujeque

Cathleen Abby Trujeque was called to God’s garden on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the age of 68. Cathy was born February 12, 1958, in Albuquerque, NM to Francis and Nellie Wick. Cathy loved her family and her kitties. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her siblings Bonnie, Gloria, Margaret, Tino and Steve, as well as her late husband Ralph Trujeque. Cathy is survived by her husband Edward Sandoval of 47 years, her brother Lando and sister Denina and husband Gary Heim; her sons Joseph Trujeque and wife Melanie, Martin Sandoval and wife Nelda; her grandchildren Rose, Emily, Elizabeth, Joseph Trujeque, and Junior, Devin, and Cynthia Sandoval; as well as 3 great-grandchildren, and one more on the way! She also had so many wonderful sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other extended family members who surrounded her with love.

Cathy will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to be touched by her light. There are some who bring a light so great to the world. That even after they have gone the light remains.

The family will be having a celebration of life service on Sunday, July 12th, from 3-5pm at 4615 McLeod Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
