Cleo Mardelle (Eilerts) Hollander

The Lord has called home his servant Cleo Mardelle Hollander, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She passed away on Thursday, September 10th, 2026, at home in Albuquerque, NM due to complications from a heart condition.

Cleo was born August 18, 1933, to August and Clella Eilerts in Coleridge, Nebraska. She married her high school sweetheart on November 30, 1952, in West Point, Nebraska. She moved around the United States with her husband who was in the Air Force. They moved to Albuquerque in 1968 and remained there ever since.

Cleo is survived by her husband, Norman, aged 95, to whom she was married for over 73 years; Betty Low, aged 101, her sister-in-law; 4 children: Mark Hollander, Mitchell Hollander, Pam Hollander, and Tam Schwab; 9 Grandchildren; 13 Great grandchildren; 2 Great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved dearly and lived for family and friends.
