Daniel C. Orona

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother

Daniel C. Orona who went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2026, at age 67.

Daniel was a kindhearted and gentle person with a big smile and a gift to bring happiness wherever he went. He loved to travel, dance, listen to his music, make people laugh and brighten the room just by being himself. His kindness and laughter are gifts that everyone will always remember him by.

He was a lifelong Resident of Alameda, New Mexico

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Toby & Albertila Orona

His Brother Harold Orona, Sisters Sophie Sanchez, Marion Cipriano and Charlotte Wright.

He is survived by Larry Orona, (Alicia), Walter Orona (Tammy), Toby Orona, Lillian Lucero (Patrick), Karen O Griego, Jackie Lucero, Yvonne Thayer (Stuart), Many Nieces, and Nephews Special Cousins Delbert & Judy Cardenas, Ray & Annie Martinez and good friend Robert Sprenger .

Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Alameda, NM

On Tuesday November 10,2026

Viewing - Rosary will be at 8am

Funeral Mass at 9am

Followed by

Internment at San Carlos Cemetery
