Dolores French

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, Dolores French loving mother of three sons, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, passed away at age 97.

Dolores was born on April 10, 1929, in Albuquerque, NM to Matilde and Josepihina Serda. She was a banquette waitress for many years the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Dolores loved music and dancing. She was caring and compassionate and was admired by friends and family. She was a very happy go lucky person.

Dolores was preceded in death by her son Christopher French. She is survived by her two sons Byron P French Jr (Christina French) and Phillip French, grandchildren Byron P French III (Crystal French), Rita DeHerrera (Andre DeHerrera), Phillip French Jr (PJ), Nikayla French, Elijah French, Lenyn French, great grandchildren Adam French, Ayden DeHerrera, Natalie French, Kaomi French. As well as her brother Patrick Serda, sisters Ramona Saiz, Louise Lyon, Jennie Berumen, Rita Verdi, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church located at 820 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. 07/27/2026 Rosary at 8:30AM; Mass at 9:00am followed by Burial at Mount Calvery Cemetery at 10:30am.
