Gloria B. Lopez-Bustos

Gloria B Lopez-Bustos, age 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 18th, 2018. Born and raised in Chamita New Mexico, Gloria enjoyed singing in church and cooking for her family. She was a self-taught seamstress who took pleasure in making clothing for her children as well as herself. She had an enormous heart and was always happy to help those less fortunate. She converted part of her home into a nursing facility; whereby, she cared for several elderly people. She was a very giving woman with a heart of gold and never lost her faith in the Lord. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Ruby Lopez, a brother Anthony G. Lopez, and her sons Rick J. Roybal and Miguel R. Bustos Jr. Gloria is survived by her Tia Florian Atencio, whom she loved like a mother, her only sister Priscilla Martinez, brother's Richard and Gerold, (aka Jerry and her partner in crime). Her children Joe, Ruby and Greg Roybal and Pauline Baca. Her grandchildren John Tafoya, Bernadette Martinez, Antonio & Patricia Roybal, Adam Lovato, Jessica Horton, Andrew & Natalie Jurado, Gabriel & Julian Vigil, Delila Baca and Antonio Miguel Flores. Gloria had 19 great-grandchildren all whom she loved dearly and who are going to miss her a great deal. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 6:00 pm at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM also at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Chamita, NM  Arrangements entrusted to: Riverside Funeral Home of Santa Fe 3232 Cerrillos Road Santa Fe (505) 395-9150
