James Sanders

               A Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from the family tree. 
I keep hearing a voice that says
"Grieve not for me. 
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.                                                                       
The good life I lived while I was strong. 
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. 
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. 
Continue traditions, no matter how small. 
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. 
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. 
Until the day comes we're all together again."

James "Troy" Sanders Sr., 52, of Moriarty, New Mexico, unexpectedly passed away in the hospital, with his fiancee, Renee and his three children' James, Jt and Tiffany by his side. 

Troy was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on February 26, 1974 to Gary Sanders and Sandra Barnes. He was also raised by his "Dad" Richard aka "Dickie" Barnes. Troy was a lifelong resident of Moriarty, New Mexico. He graduated Mortiarty High School in 1992. He then went on to pursue his career in design and drafting, graduating with high honors from ITT Tech. 

Many People who knew Troy would say that he was kind, caring and hardworking. He was always there for the people he loved. He taught his kids many life lessons; from what was right, to what was wrong. He led his kids with a tough but caring heart and always let them know that he was right beside them. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved when he could go out fishing with his friends and family. Troy's greatest joy in life, though, was watching his grandkids play and grow. Being "Papa" was a job he took very seriously. He loved and adored his fiancee more than anything in the world. He always wore the biggest smile when they were together. He was a light to many and will forever be missed by all of his family and friends. 

Troy is preceded in death by his grandparents Gene and Maxine Bowden, Roger and Billie Sanders, his dad Gary Sanders, Salomon and Teresa Archueta, as well as numerous aunts and uncles. 

Troy is survived by his mom and dad, Sandra and Dickie Barnes of Moriarty, NM. Step mom Sylvia Sanders of Arrey, NM. His beloved children James Allen (Eternity) of Moriarty, NM, Jt Sanders (Ivonne) of Los Lunas, NM and Tiffany Sanders (Bryce) of Rio Rancho, NM. His four beautiful grandchildren; Silver, Crimson, Nova and Adelaide. His Fiancee Renee Garcia of Moriarty, NM and her son Eddie Lucero of Edgewood, NM. His sister Jennifer Sanders of T or C, NM. Two nephews Dustin De La Torre of T or C, NM and Dillin De La Torre of Albuquerque, NM. Three aunts Kerry (Danny) West, Shirley (Virgil) Owen, Susie (Raymond) Payne, as well as numerous cousins. 

Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
