Linda Lorriane Berglund, née Burke, passed away on September 24, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was 80 years old.

Born on August 5, 1946, in Albuquerque, Linda spent her life deeply rooted in the community she called home. Her life reflected dedication to her work, her family, and her faith, and those who knew her will remember the steady presence she carried through each of those parts of her life.

Linda’s working life was marked by both variety and commitment. She worked as a florist in Germany for a year and continued her work in Albuquerque for many years. She also served as an elementary teacher at Western Heights. Later, she retired from Bank of America, closing a career that included service in several different settings and reflected many years of work and responsibility.

A central part of Linda’s life was her long connection to Western Heights Church. She was a member there for about 62 years. Linda and her husband, Dale, were devoted to the Lord and to their church, and that commitment remained an important part of her life over the decades.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Edmond Berglund; her mother, Margie Burke (Crosby); her father, Bobby Burke; her father-in-law, Marlon Berglund; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Belisle.

She is survived by her daughter, Delreen, and Delreen’s husband, Marus Greenwalt; her son, Dean, and Dean’s wife, Tami Berglund; her grandson, Zachery Greenwalt, and his wife, Sierra Greenwalt; her granddaughter, Kaitlynn, and her husband, Kevin Kuper; her granddaughter, Ceanna; her grandson, Tyler Berglund; her grandson, Tevin; her great-grandchildren, Kyden and Joel Greenwalt; her sister, Dena, and Dena’s husband, Jim Plagens; her brother, Lonnie Burke, and his wife, Joanne Burke; and her brother-in-law, Chip Berglund.

Her devotion to her husband, her family, and her church will always be remembered. Linda Lorriane Berglund leaves behind a life defined by lasting faith, years of work, and enduring commitment to those closest to her. She will truly be missed. A Viewing will be held on October 12, 2026, from 05:30 PM to 06:00 PM at Western Heights Church 6415 Sage Rd SW. Service will be 6:00 pm.
