Rebecca Blanton Bugbee

It is with great sadness that the family of Rebecca Blanton Bugbee of Albuquerque NM announces her passing on November 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Born June 20, 1931 in Paris Tennesee to the late Fred William Blanton and the late Myrtle Wilson Blanton.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Gerald P Bugbee, as well as her sister Anne Crosswy. She is survived by her 3 children, Gerald (Jerry) Bugbee Jr, Elizabeth (Libba) Ferreira (Danny Greiner), Fred Bugbee (Monika Mojica); grandsons Daniel (Danny)Ferreira, Luke Bugbee and great-grandson Ryan Ferreira.

Rebecca retired from APS where she taught elementary school for 20+ years. She was a music major in college, and passed down her love of music to her family. She enjoyed traveling, with her favorite destination being Disney World. A life long Methodist, she was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
