Stephen Carl Crews, Sr.

Stephen Carl Crews Sr. passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on December 29, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the cherished son of the late Cecil Crews and Nadine Crews (later Wirtmiller).

Stephen proudly served his country as a veteran of the Vietnam War, demonstrating courage, dedication, and honor in service. Throughout his life, Stephen was deeply devoted to his faith in Jesus Christ. In a powerful testament to his unwavering spiritual journey, he recently renewed his commitment to his faith by giving his life to Christ and being baptized once again.

Stephen was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Maria Crews, his parents, and his sister, Susan Crews.

He leaves behind a loving legacy and is survived by:

• His son, Stephen Crews Jr., and his girlfriend, Catalina Martinez

• His daughter, Melanie Marquez, and her husband, Isaac Marquez

• His grandson, Christopher Marquez

• His brother, Wesley Crews, and his wife, Tammy

• His sister, Faith Leith, and her husband, Donald

• His sister, Lee Burkett, and her husband, Gary

• Along with various beloved nieces and nephews
