Frank Fernandez

Born to Francisco and Esther Fernandez. Frank was the eldest of his three siblings, Angela, Lucia and Arnielle. He was raised on his family's ranch east of San Antonio, New Mexico, which he would later run with his own family. He proudly joined and served in the US Navy at the age of 21 in January 1960, later to return home after an injury in which he broke his back and was honorably discharged.

He would later marry Judy in April of 1962, they were married 63 years. He was a jack of all trades and self -employed most of his life. They had 4 children, Frank III (Scooter), Roque (Rocky), Kolynn and Shaun Lee. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Scooter and is survived by his wife, three remaining children, their spouses and many Grand and Great Grandchildren.

One year ago he reaffirmed to his son in law who is a minister, his acceptance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a faithful attendee of the many bible studies and services that the medical facilities provided where he spent the later part of his life. As the bible states, when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your sins are forgiven. This gives his family great peace knowing that he is now in heaven with his Son Scooter.
