Judy Romero

Feb 20, 1947 — Aug 5, 2026

Judy Romero passed away on August 5, 2026, after facing significant health challenges in recent years. Judy fought with remarkable strength until the end. Though her physical battles were difficult, her heart had long carried the quiet weight of profound loss. After the heartbreaking passing of her beloved son a part of her spirit remained with him. With every family member who passed before her, a piece of her went with them. Today, her family finds comfort in knowing she is no longer carrying that grief, but is finally at peace, reunited in Heaven with her son and the loved ones she missed so dearly.

Judy Romero was born February 20, 1947 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Judy was a loving grandmother, mother, aunt, sister, and friend whose life was defined by an unwavering devotion to her family. Even after facing medical hardship, Judy never stopped showing up to basketball games or special events. She was a constant source of strength for those around her. Judy loved deeply and lived fully. She gave her granddaughter the priceless gift of being loved unconditionally from the very first moment of her life, building a bond so profound that Judy’s love will remain a cherished part of her granddaughter forever. Judy’s love for music and dancing was contagious, bringing light, laughter, and endless movement to the lives of everyone around her. Judy’s love for her family was absolute. She spent her life deeply devoted to those around her, and her presence will be missed beyond measure. Her memory lives on in every delicate butterfly that takes flight and every timeless purple flower that blooms.

Judy held a special place in her extended family as the last living aunt of her generation to pass on, serving as a cherished bridge to their shared history. She is survived by her loving daughter, Jenee Aragon, and son-in-law, Anthony Aragon; her cherished granddaughter, Lorien Aragon; her two grandsons, Josh and Dion; and many nieces and nephews who will forever treasure her memory. She was preceded in death by her son, her siblings, and her parents.
