Lucia Olympia Duran

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved, Olympia Duran, who passed away on April 19, 2026. Olympia was born on March 4, 1938 in Lincoln County, New Mexico, to Luis and Antonia Aragon. Olympia was a loving Wife, mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother who meant everything to her family. Her love was strong, steady, and unconditional. She always put her family first and gave comfort just by being near. Her presence brought peace, and her absence leaves a deep ache in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eliseo Duran; her daughter, Theresa Padilla; her parents Luis and Antonia Aragon; and her siblings Manuel “Nele” Aragon, Johnny Aragon, Guadalupe Aragon, Orlidia Montes, and Carmen Perez.

She is survived by her grandchildren Sandi, Diamond, Tamara, and Nathan (grandson‑in‑law); her great‑grandchildren Ashley, Antonia, Angelo, Lilyana, and Giovanni; and her brothers Joe Aragon, Raymond Aragon and many extended family members.

Olympia will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family always.

Funeral Mass :10:00

followed by Burial At San Jose de Armijo -2957 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121

Reception to follow Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church Parish Hall. 

Services are being handled by Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas.
