Anna Maria Stokes

Anna Maria Stokes, Born June 22, 2026 - passed July 3, 2026        

Anna was born to Lorraine Trujillo and Leroy Sisneroz in Hayward, California. Their union ended and Anna along with her older sister Margarita, older brother Anthony, and younger brother Paul were brought to Colorado by their mother. Lorraine remarried and Anna got another sister Lenore and three younger brothers Fred, Gary, and Dennis. Anna attended Denver Public School Elementary Elyria and Swansea Jr. High Henry, then graduated from Kennedy High School. During this time, Anna developed some of her lifelong relationships that she cherished with Gina Garcia, Rita Ruby, Anna Ziebarth, and Mia Montelongo. Anna has numerous cousins. Anna was always a hard worker starting at a young age. Anna gravitated towards a long career working with the Developmentally Disabled. Anna worked at Ridge and Laradon Hall. Anna settled in at Laradon working with that facility for over thirty years. Anna worked as a Teacher's Aide Dorm Supervisor, Medical Liaison then becoming one of the first Host Home Providers in Colorado. Anna was a caring-loving sister, auntie, Nina, and friend. Anna chose to marry Thomas Stokes thirty-four years ago. They built a wonderful life together, one of the highlights being having Harrison Graham and Danny Rose who became a part of the family through their Host Home. Anna loved music, the outdoors, flowers, shopping, gambling, and dancing especially to the band, Hot lunch. Anna and Tom never had biological children but are blessed with many wonderful nieces and nephews. Anna was also the Nina to Monica, Clark Jr, Charlene, Alex, Mariah, Trevor, Giana, Devin, Lilly, Alicia, Jade, Delilah, and Kiko. Anna Lived a full life even with battling many heath issues, she chose to enjoy and love life spreading so much joy. She will be missed deeply. 

Anna is proceeded in death by her Grandparents Jake and Amelia Trujillo- Delfina, Epimenia Cordova, her Mother Lorraine Cordova and Stepfather Fred Cordova and Father Leroy Sisneroz, Aunt's Juanita, Cora Uncle's Anthony, Benny, and Jake Her brother Anthony also good friends Anna Ziebarth her parents Jack and lucy and her Dear Harrison Graham, and her Father and Mother in Law  Frank and Fille Stokes
