Holland Otto Parran, Jr.

Holland Otto Parran Jr, age 70, from Aurora, Colorado by way of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his home August 20, 2026.

Growing up in St. Louis, MO, he made his way to Colorado in 1979 where he started a family and became one of the friendly faces in the community. He was known as Head Coach for the Aurora Youth League Rebels, driver for the route 6 bus and shop steward for First transit. His favorite past times were fighting for his drivers, and fighting to give his kids that fighting spirit, and fighting with fish, and then an "occasional" western.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Ramona; his 3 sons Holland III, Tyler, and James; His grandchildren Layla, Lily, Jamiyah, and James Jr. who he loved very much; His parents Holland Sr. and Barbara; and siblings Cheryl, Diana, Holly, Carolyn (Faye), and George. He was preceded in death by his sister Shumeka.

A memorial service will be held at Romero Funeral Holne and Cremations on 15150 E. Iliff Ave. Aurora CO. 80014 on Tuesday Sept. 15 at 12 pm - 3pm
