It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jesika Lynn Lopez, born on December 13, 1981, in Samoa, who departed this life on October 17, 2025, in Guffey, Colorado.

Jesika, a beacon of light and inspiration, shared her journey with a loving husband, Jessie Lopez, and their amazing children. She will be dearly missed by her family, extended family, and countless friends who were touched by her spirit. Jessica was a devoted wife and mother, whose generosity knew no bounds. Throughout her remarkable life, she exhibited a curious and energetic nature, always eager to explore new horizons and immerse herself in the joys of life. She worked diligently as a Retirement Payroll Specialist II, where her commitment and expertise were valued by her colleagues and clients alike. While Jesika proudly held her high school diploma, it was her life experiences that truly educated her. Her journey was filled with love, laughter, and the kind of wisdom that can only be acquired through genuine connections with others. She had an uncanny ability to make those around her feel seen and valued. Jesika’s legacy is one of inspiration and love. To know her was to witness kindness in action; she always put others first and lived life with an open heart. 

Friends and family will gather to celebrate her extraordinary life on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Romero Funeral - Chapel of Repose, 15150 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO. The receiving of family and friends will commence at 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM, with a reception to follow at the Romero Reception Hall.

In this time of sorrow, we honor Jesika’s vibrant spirit and remember the laughter and love that she spread wherever she went. May her memory continue to inspire us all to live generously and joyfully, just as she did.
