Matias Sanchez Ramos

Con profundo dolor, pero con esperanza en la misericordia de Dios, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Matias Sanchez Ramos, querido hijo, hermano, esposo, padre y un gran Coach, quien  partió a la Casa del Padre el día 11 de Febrero del 2026.

Nació el 17 de octubre de 1971 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. Desde joven mostró una gran pasión por el fútbol, disciplina que marcó su vida para siempre. Fue jugador profesional, formando parte de Las Chivas en el año de 1991 a 1996 y de Los Leones Negros en los años de 1996 a 1998, destacándose por su entrega, disciplina y amor por el deporte.

Después de su etapa como jugador, decidió dedicar su vida a la formación de nuevas generaciones, convirtiéndose en un gran entrenador y mentor. A lo largo de los años dejó una huella profunda en la vida de muchos deportistas, acompañando, guiando y apoyando los sueños de cada uno de ellos y ellas. No solo formó atletas, sino también personas con valores, carácter y determinación. Supo inspirar, motivar y creer en el potencial de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de aprender a su lado.

Fue un hombre de carácter noble, corazón generoso y Fe firme. Amó profundamente a su familia y siempre estuvo dispuesto a tender la mano a quien lo necesitara. Su presencia llenaba de alegría cada reunión, y su recuerdo vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.

Le sobreviven, Hijos, Moises Sánchez y Fatima Sánchez, Su mamá Victoria Ramos, (Hermanos), Patricia, Ana, Elizabeth, Joel, Santiago, Samir y demás familiares que lo amarán por siempre.

La familia agradece sinceramente las oraciones, mensajes y muestras de cariño recibidas en estos momentos difíciles. Confiamos en la promesa del Señor y en el reencuentro en la vida eterna.

With deep sorrow, yet with hope in God’s mercy, we announce the passing of Matias Sanchez Ramos, beloved son, brother, husband, father, and a great coach, who was called to the Father’s House on February 11, 2026.

He was born on October 17, 1971, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. From a young age, he showed a great passion for soccer, a discipline that shaped his life forever. He was a professional player, proudly representing Las Chivas from 1991 to 1996 and Los Leones Negros from 1996 to 1998, standing out for his dedication, discipline, and love for the game.

After his playing career, he chose to dedicate his life to shaping new generations, becoming an exceptional coach and mentor. Throughout the years, he left a profound mark on the lives of many athletes, guiding, supporting, and encouraging their dreams. He not only developed skilled players but also individuals of strong values, character, and determination. He inspired, motivated, and believed deeply in the potential of those who had the privilege of learning from him.

He was a man of noble character, generous heart, and unwavering faith. He loved his family deeply and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His presence brought joy to every gathering, and his memory will live on forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his children, Moises Sánchez and Fatima Sánchez; his mother, Victoria Ramos; his siblings, Patricia, Ana, Elizabeth, Joel, Santiago, and Samir; and many other relatives who will love him forever.

The family sincerely appreciates the prayers, messages, and expressions of love received during this difficult time. We trust in the Lord’s promise and in the reunion of eternal life.
