Ruben Settle

Ruben Settle passed away on September 19, 2026, at his residence in Aurora, Colorado. He was born on June 29, 1950, in Mexico, and his life will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect by those who knew him.

Ruben’s passing brings deep sorrow to his family and friends, who now hold close the memory of his life and the place he held in their hearts. He is survived by his sons, Johann Ernesto Bolanos, Dewey Steven Settle-Bolanos,  who carries forward his memory with love.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Ruben on September 24, 2026, at Romero Funeral Home-Aurora, 15150 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO 80014. A Velacion / Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the Discurso Funebre / Funeral Discourse from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

As his loved ones come together to honor his life, may they find comfort in shared memories, in one another’s presence, and in the enduring bond of family. Ruben Settle will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
