**Obituary for Shai Leigh Mascarenas** 

It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Shai Leigh Mascarenas. Born on August 31, 1996, in Denver, Colorado, Shai departed this life on April 25, 2024, in the same city that saw their beginnings. 

Shai was the cherished daughter of Conrad L Mascarenas and Verna E Ramirez. Raised with love and care with a special bond with her guardian, Connie Fuentes. She were surrounded by a loving family, including her beautiful children K'amellia & K'ehlani, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, who will deeply feel the loss of their bright presence. Shai's early life was marked by a strong dedication to education, culminating in the achievement of her high school diploma. 

The life of Shai Leigh Mascarenas will be commemorated at Romero Funeral Home ~ Chapel of Repose on Thursday, May 16, 2024. There will be a visitation and viewing from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life reception at 4:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share in the memories of Shai's life.

 The memory of Shai will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by their kindness and love. May Shai Leigh Mascarenas rest in eternal peace.
