In Loving Memory

In celebration of a life lived with grace and boundless love, we remember Wanda Betty Lou Romero, who left this world peacefully on December 14th, 2024, at her home in Aurora, Colorado. Born on March 8th, 1938, in the nurturing embrace of the San Luis Valley, Colorado, Wanda's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her warm-hearted influence on all who had the privilege to know her. Wanda was a beacon of strength and compassion. Her life was a testament to resilience, as she faced life's challenges with dignity and an inspiring resolve, very witty, and quick with a response. 

Although preceded in death by her beloved husband, Enos Romero, Wanda's legacy lives on through her cherished daughter Yolanda, her beloved grandson Joshua Raye, and a countless number of family and friends who carry her memories in their hearts. Her life's path was enriched by her connections with those around her, leaving a lasting impact that reached beyond the walls of her home. 

Wanda was the steady heart of her family, infusing every moment with kindness and laughter. Her presence was a calming force, always offering a gentle smile or a listening ear when it was needed most. 

Friends and family are invited to honor Wanda's life during a time of visitation at 9:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 10:00 AM, on Monday, January 20th, 2025, at the Romero Funeral ~ Chapel of Repose in Aurora, CO. The commemoration of her life will conclude with an interment graveside at 12:00 PM at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, CO.

 Wanda brought into the world and by sharing that spirit forward in their own lives. As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman, we hold her dear in our hearts; her life was indeed an inspiration.
