Beverly Ann Tafoya

Beverly Ann Tafoya, 60 of Denver It is with a broken heart and spirit that the Tafoya family announces the passing of their beloved mother Beverly Ann Tafoya, who entered into Heaven's gates on July 5, 2017 in Denver. Beverly was born to her parents, Raymond and Susan Leon on February 22, 1957 in Denver, Colorado, she was the third of five children born to this union. She attended Lincoln High School in Denver. She worked as a sales clerk, and mostly a homemaker for over 45 years. She enjoyed music, playing bingo and spending time with her beautiful family. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leroy Tafoya; her parents Raymond and Susan Leon; brothers Daniel Leon and Michael Leon; grandparents Delores and Adolph Medina; aunts, Esther Medina, Mary Romero and Sarah Trujillo. Those to cherish her precious memory are her children, Joseph Tafoya Jr., Jerome Tafoya, Angie Tafoya and Andrea Tafoya; brother Raymond (Becky) Romero; sisters, Laura (Roger) Contreras, Carmen Tafoya; grandchildren, Danielle Tafoya, DeAngelo Tafoya, Britney Damian, Mariah Tafoya, Jaida Tafoya, Jalyssa Garcia, Savanah Damian, Nevaeh Damian, Jaiden Damian and Marcos Garcia; aunts, Ida Martinez and Cleo Gomez; numerous of extended family and friends. Visitation, Monday, July 17, 2017 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, with Prayer of the Rosary to follow at 6:30pm at Romero Funeral Chapel, 4750 Tejon ST., Denver.
