Blaise Sixto Vigil Sr.
Apr 6, 1938 — Jun 17, 2018
Blaise Sixto Vigil Sr. was born on April 6, 1938 to Jose Eustacio Vigil and Petriea Maria Ortega in Questa, New Mexico. He passed away at his home in Denver, Colorado on June 17, 2018 at the age of 80.
Blaise worked many jobs throughout his life and he retired as a security officer from Hospital Shared Services. He enjoyed his free time and you could always find him in his shed and working in the back yard or as he would say "workin the yard" and "organizing my shed". He enjoyed a cold Budweiser from time to time and especially when it included his brothers. He loved and prayed for everyone. He considered himself everyone's Gramps. He loved life and was an avid Raiders fan. There are many other things about Blaise we could share, but he will be remembered most as a man of God and a devout Roman Catholic. He loved his wife Virginia, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Blaise is preceded in death by his wife Virginia. Survivors are his children, Lydia Castillo, Rebecca Raymond (Greg), Maria Castillo (Bill), Elaine Vigil, and Blaise Vigil Jr. (Donna); his thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
