Carmen Esparza, devoted wife, loving mother, and treasured member of her community, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 94.
Born on November 11, 1931, in Wyoming, Carmen was the daughter of Jose Castaneda and Carmen Garcia. She grew up in a close-knit family and carried those values of love, unity, and strength throughout her life. Carmen married her beloved husband, Emilio Esparza, with whom she shared a lifetime of deep love, partnership, and cherished memories.
Carmen is preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers Monico Castaneda, Joe Castaneda, Julian Castaneda, George Castaneda, and Albert Castaneda (Ana), and her sisters Mary Rivera .
Their bond remained strong throughout their lives, and Carmen held each of them close to her heart.
She is survived by her loving children Jerome (Maria),Tish ,Guadalupe Rael (Jerry) , Dora (Rod) ,Patrick (Cindy) Also Auntie Lupe
Carmen was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and stories that will continue to be shared for generations.
Carmen will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generosity, and the unconditional love she gave to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her family, her traditions, and the kindness she showed every single day.
