Carolyn Suzanne Martinez, 72 of Englewood Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call Lift up your hearts and share with me. God wanted me now; He set me free. With sadden hearts the Martinez family conveys the passing of their beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother Carolyn Suzanne Martinez, who entered heavens gates on July 22, 2017. CC as known by all, was born in Denver, Colorado to her parents, Charles Iwata and Lois Ortiz Iwata on May 17, 1945; she was the second child of 3 born to this union. She attended Manuel High School in Denver. and graduated his school with college credits. She was homemaker, enjoying sewing and cooking.. CC is preceded in death by parents Charles and Lois Iwata; brother Bobby Ortiz. Those to cherish her precious memory is her husband, Daniel Martinez, Sr.; Sons Daniel, Jr., Charles, and Timmy Martinez; Daughter, Elane; Sister Virginia Ortega and six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; including a host of extended family and friends. Visitation on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am, with a Celebration of Life service at 10:00am, all at Romero Funeral Chapel, 4750 Tejon Street, Denver, Colorado. Interment at Arvada Cemetery, 5581 Independence St., Arvada, Colorado.
