Charlene Angela Martinez went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018 in Wheat Ridge, surrounded by her family. She was born in La Junta, Colorado, on September 5, 1972, to Juanita Martinez. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Luz and Pablo Martinez; cousin Joey Martinez; and friends Shannon Garcia and Cynthia Otero. She is survived by her husband of 17 years Mark Lucero; children Erika Martinez-Altamirano, Dominique Martinez-Refice, Amber Lucero, and Brandon Lucero; mother Juanita Martinez; siblings Ronnie Martinez and Georgia Rodriguez; grandchildren Oscar Arambul and baby Parker on the way; godson Sean Hernandez; niece Nicole Chaparro and nephews Ron Lewis and Alex Martinez. Charlene enjoyed rides to the mountains, hiking, family gatherings, cleaning, and cheering on the Denver Broncos. Her family described her as very loving, caring, compassionate, and happy. She was known for her generosity and always putting others before herself. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
