In Loving Memory of Connie Ortega

October 19, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Connie Ortega, who gained her angel wings on October 19, 2026, at the age of 59. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and dear friend whose life touched the hearts of so many.

Connie will be remembered for the love she shared, the strength she carried, and the countless memories she created with those around her. Family was especially important to her, and the love she gave will remain forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her presence brought warmth and joy to the lives of so many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing and loving her.

Connie is now reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, Phillip and Ruth Ortega; her daughter, Selene Ortega; and her brother, Phillip Ortega. Although our hearts ache from the loss of someone so precious, we find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with the loved ones who went before her.

Connie leaves behind her loving daughter, Tara; her cherished granddaughter, Selene; and her precious new grandbaby, Ximena, who will carry on her family’s legacy of love. She is also lovingly remembered by William Manzanares, the father of her children, who remained a significant part of her life and was always very good to her. Their shared history, care, and connection will forever be honored and remembered.

She is also survived by her beloved siblings and their spouses:

  • Phyllis Ortega and her husband, Richard Gomez
  • Judy Ortega and her husband, David Pritchard
  • Patrick Ortega and his wife, DeeDee Gutierrez

Connie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Among those mourning her loss are Michelle Cordova and her husband, Stanley Nwaogu. Michelle grew up alongside Connie and shared a special bond with her, loving her like a sister. The memories they shared and the connection they built throughout their lives will always hold a special place in Michelle’s heart.

Although our hearts are broken by Connie’s passing, we are forever grateful for the time we were blessed to share with her. The memories we made, the love she gave, and the bond we shared will remain with us always. Her legacy will live on through her family and the generations she leaves behind. Though she may no longer be by our side, her love will continue to surround us, and she will never be forgotten.
